Commentary on Revelation
Blessed is the one who reads the words
of this prophecy, and blessed are those who
hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (Rev
1:3 NIV)
This is a 180,000+ word, verse by verse commentary on the
book of Revelation or the Apocalypse as it is otherwise known. This is a
serious and conservative study and is suitable for bible students, teachers and
pastors. It includes short reviews of most of the
modern commentaries on the Apocalypse. It assumes that any interpretation must
come from the rest of the bible and that the Apocalypse speaks to every
generation of Christians. You can use this commentary yourself either as
software or printed and give it to others but not for financial gain. If you
find it useful for private study or teaching please
let me know.
You can download for free the latest version of the complete
commentary as a zipped Rich Text Format file suitable for most major word
processors (Word, Wordperfect, Lotus Ami Pro) to download for free click
here (345k) - Unzipped it is about 1MB
and 200 pages (A4). Note: normally most of the html files will not be
updated, only the zipped document will be updated. Designed to be
printed in landscape format, it has two columns.
For the latest update please download the complete commentary, I do
not usually update the htm versions
